The Beatles’ Last Concert

Unknown song with Beatles involvement discovered

A lost song has emerged in an attic in Birmingham, which was recorded by Beatles musicians George Harrison and Ringo Starr in the late 1960s.

According to the Beatles Museum in Liverpool, the piece of music has the title “Radge Shaam” and was written by the journalist Suresh Joshi. He introduced the Beatles to the Indian yoga guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the sixties. The band had felt inspired by the guru for a while and even traveled to India for classes. The recording, featuring Harrison on guitar and Starr on drums, was released on Wednesday. The proceeds from the sale of the piece are intended to benefit a charitable cause.
