She is a former model and photographer from the UK. She was the wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton, important rock and roll figures.
When she was married to George Harrison and later to Eric Clapton, each musician dedicated a special song of hers to her. Both are among the greatest musical works of their respective careers.
In 1969, the Beatle composed the song “Something” which was released as a single and would reach the top of the popularity charts. A year later, Clapton would record the song “Layla” together with Derek and the Dominos. It was composed when Boyd and Harrison were still married, and expresses Clapton’s unrequited love for his friend’s wife.
