In 1967, The Beatles traveled to Greece where, based on an idea from John Lennon, they were looking to buy a Greek island [or series of small islands] to create a place in the middle of paradise where they could live and work among friends and family

The plan had been to purchase one central larger island surrounded by 4 smaller islands, one for each Beatle

It was a dream that was never realized but it may have changed the group and personality dynamic, if indeed, it had come to pass
