Lennon who had a great love with Yoko Ono breaks his own rule and constantly takes Ono to the studio records. Ono who is a musician like him starts to criticize the band’s music and intervenes with the records. The other members and especially Paul McCartney is disturbed from Ono and they start to argue. There are especially blood-and-gut arguments between Lennon and McCartney.
“Paul, I am talking about a divorce”
In addition to Yoko Ono crisis, they have different ideas to choose a manager and they also face financial problems. As the arguments continued every day, Lennon announces his decision to leave the band on 20 September 1969. McCartney who does not want to accept this decision tries to talk about the work they will do.
Although Lennon says he wants to leave the band for a couple of times, McCartney ignores him. John Lennon grabs his old friend from his collars, shakes him and says, “Paul, I don’t think you get it. I am talking about a divorce”.
