Lennon was literally a choir boy as he grew up singing at St. Peter’s Church.
10. Driving wasn’t his thing.

The musician didn’t get his license until 24 and even then he probably should have stayed away from the driver’s seat. Four years after he got his license, he wrecked his Aston Martin while in Scotland and needed 17 stitches.
11. It is not known where he was laid to rest.

Lennon was cremated after death and it is not known where his ashes were scattered, which may have been a ploy to stop crazed fans disturbing him in death as they had in life.
1. Lennon was interested in writing children’s books.

Lennon was an avid writer of stories and poetry and had three of his books published. He had stated on several occasions that he was interested in writing a children’s book after he had retired from music.

Lennon was not 18 when his mother died. He was 17. He turned 18 three months later.
