The Beatles have officially announced a major expansion of their legendary Anthology project, set to be released on November 21, 2025. Marking the 30th anniversary of the original series, this new collection is headlined by the long-rumored ‘Anthology 4’, a volume that promises to delve even deeper into the band’s vault.
The upcoming release features 13 previously unreleased tracks, including fascinating session recordings and demos. Highlights include an alternate take of ‘I’ve Just Seen a Face’ (Take 3) and a raw version of ‘If I Fell.’ Fans are particularly excited about the inclusion of ‘Now and Then,’ the song completed in 2023 that has been hailed as the final Beatles track. Additionally, the set includes brand-new ‘demix’ versions of ‘Free as a Bird’ and ‘Real Love,’ meticulously restored by Jeff Lynne and Giles Martin using the latest audio technology.
Remastered entirely by Giles Martin, the entire Anthology series will be available in multiple formats, including a massive 12-LP 180-gram vinyl box set and an 8-CD collection. This definitive release aims to provide a fresh perspective on the band’s creative process, reclaiming the narrative of their late career and ensuring their legacy remains as vibrant as ever for a new generation of listeners.
