December 5th 1965 – The Beatles’ last Liverpool Concert

Barry Miles (author of The Beatles Diary): “All their friends and relatives were there. It was the last concert the Beatles played in their hometown.”

Jerry Stevens (host): “I remember John telling me that the worst thing was playing in his hometown. He didn’t really like playing in Liverpool because everybody knew them there.”

Barry Miles: “At the second concert, when the Kubas performed ‘Dizzy Miss Lizzy,’ they were joined by Paul on drums.”
