Weston -Super-Mare 1963 – The Beatles

Such a shame the hotel that The Beatles stayed in for 5 days when on tour with Gerry & the Pacemakers burnt down.

The boys had such a great time there in July 1963 as they could still walk around relatively unknown apart from signing autographs. The were on the cusp of World wide fame.

A lot of the photos by Dezo Hoffman were taken of them relaxing on the hotel roof , go carting & In Victorian seaside costume messing around on the sands .

There is now a plaque near where the lads sat on the rocks , not far from the old pier.

There are lots of other stories of their time in WSM & film from fans on YouTube.
