Today’s “Beatles Instrument” is George’s first guitar, an Egmond steel-strung.

George’s parents bought this Dutch-made guitar in 1956. George learned to play guitar on it and used it in his first band, The Rebels, a skiffle group formed by the Harrisons and this three mates.

Since 2003, this guitar has been on display at the Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool.
