Below is a rare photo of John with Julian and Sean near the Lennon’s Palm Beach, Florida home on April 8, 1979. The family would celebrate Julian’s 16th birthday together on April 14 in Palm Beach, which would be the last time Julian would see his father. During March and April 1979, John and Yoko rented the estate named “El Solano” and eventually purchased the mansion on January 31, 1980. The Mediterranean home is 14,000 square feet, with seven beds and 9.5 baths, and has two pools, a tennis court, and 180 feet of ocean frontage. It sits on 1.3 acres of land and is close to former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property and Rod Stewart and author James Patterson’s homes. The Lennons bought the estate for $725,000 USD and had plans to extensively renovate the home, built in the 1920s. Yoko did some remodeling after we lost John in December 1980 and sold the property in 1986 for $3.15 million.The property was sold again in 2016 for $23.5 million and is currently on the market for $47.5 million.
