George Harrison was born in Liverpool on February 25, 1943, the youngest Beatle and the last of four siblings.
He is the only Beatle whose childhood was not marred by divorce or the death of parents. The father, Harold, worked as a bus driver and was actually a seaman. The mother, Louise, was a housewife who was popular with all the children in the neighborhood.
