December 05, 1973. The third studio album of the British group Wings is released, called ”Band on the Run”. Published by the record company Apple Records . The album, Paul McCartney’s fifth after the separation of The Beatles, became one of the musician’s most successful solo works, reaching the top of the charts in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and Norway, and contributed to revitalize McCartney’s solo career under the formation of Wings, created two years earlier for the recording of Wild Life.
