As a security precaution they were taken to The Hippodrome in the back of a Police Van . Before entering the venue they posed with Police and signed autographs.This was part of their Autumn U.K. tour.This was their second performance at The Hippodrome with the first one happening on March 10th 1963. Additionally on this day The Beatles performance at The Royal Variety Performance which was recorded on November 4th 1963 was broadcast on BBC – TV .
