“It’s The Beatles”, a weekly series of 15 episodes lasting 15 minutes each, hosted by Peter Carver, began airing on Radio Luxembourg.
Capitol Records sends a memo to sales managers and regional managers, noting the start of the “Beatles Campaign.” The note contains a lot of interesting, important, and historical information about the issued promotional items, their uses, and release dates.
Among other commercial advertisements, pins, Beatle wigs, stickers, a newspaper, promotional albums, and the impressive “Beatle Motion Display”, today one of the most sought after and valuable Beatles promotional items for collectors.
