A year earlier at this time, the quiet Beatle had traveled to India, specifically to Bombay, to work on the soundtrack of the film Wonderwall. In 1969, about to start recording Get back, and after enduring the quarrels between Lennon and McCartney, Harrison announced to his bandmates his intention to leave the band. And with them he left the rehearsals. It was a momentary departure fruit of the weariness of the constant frictions between the members of the group.
