David Bowie and Paul McCartney

«I met Iman at an event – but David Bowie wasn’t with her. And she said, “Oh, you should give him a ring, because he sort of sits in the house and doesn’t do much.” So I didn’t think much more of it – but then probably a year later I did give him a ring and I figured now that it would have been around the time he got his diagnosis. So we couldn’t hook up, we were just going to have a cup of tea in New York – and it was very sad. I regret we never had the chance to work together, except for a couple of charity concerts.
