The Beatles – Real Love

The song is a demo by John that was used by the rest of the band to work on it for the anthologies that were being recorded.
The directors of the music video were Geoff Wonfor and Kevin Godley.
The video is a collage where several previous videos of the band are mixed, from black and white to color, the 3 Beatles are also seen working in Paul’s studio in 1995.
In the fragments you can see the interactions, mostly relaxed and having fun.
In the video you can see how the Beatles story goes by in several fragments, as well as seeing John’s piano emerge from the water and begin to travel.
It would not be the only thing that we would see floating, also the costumes of Sergeant Pepper’s band, the classic instruments of the band, they also make references to the rumors that there were of the band such as the marijuana cigarette in the decoration of the band by Queen Elizabeth.
The song tells us about real love and that is why we see John with Yoko, Paul and Linda, George with Olivia, Ringo and Barbara.
The fragments of the 3 Beatles working in the studio were recorded by the 2 directors and George Harrison who brought his own camera.
At the end of the video the band appears giving thanks as they did in their presentations and the message of Real Love and two hearts embracing each other on an advertising poster.
“Recording new songs was nothing contrived, it felt very natural and was a lot of fun, but also emotional at times. But it’s the end of the road, really. There’s no more we can do like The Beatles”- Ringo Starr
