1960

The Beatles become friends with Klaus Voormann and Astrid Kirchherr, who belong to a group of German existentialist intellectuals/artists known as “Exis.” Voormann is an illustrator who will later design later album covers for the band, and Kirchherr is a photographer who will take many historic photographs of The Beatles.

1961

Lunch time and afternoon: performance at the Cavern.

Mersey Beat reports that Bernard Boyle has formed the first Beatles Fan Club.

1963

ABC’s Studio One, Didsbury Studio Centre, Manchester. Performance taped for ABC’s ‘Big Night Out’.

1964

Larry Kane records interviews with George, Neil Aspinall andDerek Taylor fro WFUN AM.

1965

Brian announces he wishes to sign the Moody Blues to a management contract.

UK. The Beatles song ‘Help!’ 6th week in the Top 10.

1967

Meeting of all Beatles at Paul’s St John’s Wood house. It is decided to continue the ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ project and to postpone the trip to India.

A papier-mâché caricature of The Beatles, created by British cartoonist Gerald Scarfe, was released and will appears on the cover of the September 22nd edition of Time magazine.

1973

US. Wings song ‘Live And Let Die’, 7th week in the Top 40.

1983

Studio 2. Show ‘The Beatles At Abbey Road’ (3 times).

1986

UK. Paul McCartney released his “Press to Play” LP
