Tuesday 9 January 1968. George Harrison is in India to work on the soundtrack for the film ‘Wonderwall.’ Sessions begin on this date and will be finished in four days. Harrison agreed to write the film’s score after the Bee Gees became unavailable.He first started working on the project in November 1967 with sessions in London. Collaborators included Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr & Peter Tork of the Monkees. Released in November 1968, ‘Wonderwall Music’ was not only George’s debut solo album.
