Theories about the disband of the British rock band the Beatles are still created.

The interview that included the legendary names of the music world such as Mick Jagger, Ray Charles and David Bowie is revealed. This important record also has an interview with artist Yoko Ono, wife of the Beatles member John Lennon.

Yoko Ono referred the break-up of the Beatles as a “divorce”. Yoko Ono explained the breakup in this 1987 interview as follows:

“The Beatles started to become independent. John was not the first person who wanted to be out. First, Ringo Starr came to John and me and said he wanted to be out. Then George Harrison and John wanted to leave. Paul McCartney was the only person who kept the band together. But the other 3 members were uncomfortable about Paul managing the Beatles as his own band.”

Ono said her relationship with John Lennon was tense when the band broke up and said, “he missed other members and he expected me to replace them”.

In an interview in October to David Frost, Paul McCartney said Yoko Ono didn’t case the Beatles to break-up but she was already a part of the band.
