Sir Paul McCartney bought High Park Farm, Kintyre, in 1966

Paul McCartney, pictured with his late wife Linda and their children, has told employees at High Park Farm that their services will no longer be needed after Christmas

In one of the shots taken at the farm McCartney bought at the height of the Beatles fame, Linda is pregnant with daughter Stella

I disagree the pictures are amazing. In fact, only one is interesting and another is good. No more than good. The others are bad pictures. I wish I could see really good pictures of this place because I’m sure it is very beautiful. One of the pictures is sad and…how come Paul allowed they do that with the lamb? I imagine at that time he was not still conscious about animals rights like today.
Lighten up, Ginny. They’re just family snapshots, moments caught for fun, not intended for display in some posh gallery. No need to overthink it.
Not all breeds of sheep can shed their own coats so they are sheared. Shearing in & of itself is not animal cruelty. Otherwise maggots will get in the coat & lay eggs in the skin folds & eat the sheep alive. Now that is cruelty.
I am curious to what the interior of the High Park farmhouse looks like.
